When placing an order of IDI Login Codes, you have the option to include customized questions that you create for your respondents to answer. These questions can only be multiple choice where respondents can select only one available response. This means that the questions cannot be open-ended, meaning the respondents will not have the ability to enter their own answer to a given question. However, as the QA, you are able enter the questions and each available response.
The IDI Assessment Website allows up to six (6) customized questions in a single order of IDI Login Codes with up to 20 responses for each question. Once the order is processed, these questions cannot be removed or changed from the IDI Login Codes associated with that order, so be sure that they are correct, appropriate, and to your satisfaction before confirming your order.
As the QA, you are responsible for ensuring that the questions and responses are appropriate for your respondents to answer when completing the IDI Assessment.
If you choose to add additional questions, we encourage you to consider the purpose of asking the questions, and what you intend to do with the data collected from those questions.
Customized questions are not required for respondents to submit the IDI Assessment, so be sure to instruct your respondents to answer any items you deem necessary for your data collection.
Create Customized Questions:
- On the left-hand side of the account page, click Orders
- In the drop-down, click Saved Customized Questions
- At the top of the page, click New Customized Questions
- Enter in the Preset Name (this a general category name)
- Enter in the desired Question (maximum 300-character length)
- Enter up to 20 responses (must be multiple choice)
Edit Customized Question Presets:
- On the left-hand side of the account page, click Orders
- In the drop-down, click Saved Customized Questions
- In the far left-hand column, click on the Customized Question ID
- A blue message box Edit Customized Questions ([preset name]) will appear
- Edit the Preset Name, Question, and/or Answers as needed
- In the upper left-hand corner, click Update
Adding Customized Questions to Existing IDI Login Codes
Once you have placed an order, you cannot go back and alter the order in any way. However, if you forgot to add customized questions to your order, you can convert the login codes you created to credits, so that you don't have to pay for another order if the IDI Login Codes have not been used.
