Once licensed and certified, IDI Qualified Administrators work independently from the IDI, LLC office. While individual institutions and universities collect data internally, they do not necessarily share it with our office. We do recommend visiting this link for more information about some of the institutions that do use the IDI: https://idiinventory.com/generalinformation/who-uses-the-idi/
We currently have more than 6,000 active licensed IDI Qualified Administrators, and approximately 60% are working within or with universities and colleges. Here are a few examples:
Currently, Purdue University (https://purdue.edu/IPPU/CILMAR/Assessment/Intercultural_Development_Inventory.html) has over 140 IDI Qualified Administrators and their work includes the administration of the IDI to the entire freshman class of a number of their colleges. Our office completed a case study that describes their student based work that you can find at this link: https://idiinventory.com/casestudy/developing-intercultural-competence-higher-education/?id=27953.
University of Michigan has over 165 IDI Qualified Administrators on campus and some of their work is briefly described here https://studentlife.umich.edu/dei/year-one-progress.
The University of Colorado Boulder is another institution that utilizes the IDI: https://www.colorado.edu/cisc/trainings-workshops.
In addition, you can conduct a literature review for published articles in which the IDI has been used.
