The IDI Individual Profile Review (IPR) is a self-guided eLearning course designed for students completing the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) assessment. Available for purchase by IDI Qualified Administrators (QAs) as an add-on to student IDI assessments, the IPR enables students to automatically receive their IDI results and access a two-part Profile Review.
- Part 1 introduces key terms related to the IDI assessment and the Intercultural Development Continuum (IDC), providing essential background on how the IDI measures intercultural competence across five developmental orientations.
- Part 2 presents the student’s specific IDI results, including explanations of key scores - Perceived Orientation, Developmental Orientation, and Orientation Gap - and guides students through a series of reflection questions to deepen their understanding.
The IPR also introduces students to their personalized Intercultural Development Plan (IDP), which they can complete independently after the review to support their ongoing intercultural growth. After successfully finishing the course, students receive access to a downloadable Certificate of Completion.
This program can help educator QAs scale up their use of the IDI by taking the place of the one-on-one Individual Debrief requirement to share IDI results.
